Joey has been cake decorating for approx 20years, and most of that time working in commercial cake shops. Joeys skills range from basic birthday cakes, naughty cakes, wedding cakes to making ornaments and flowers out of icing. Joey is not currently working in the cake industry, but still does cakes at home for family, friends or people that have been referred to her. |
Joey’s passion to learn new things, learn new ways to decorate, to use different products, try different ideas and her attention to detail have made her the skilled decorator she is today. |

Mel is Joeys daughter. Mel fell into the baking/cake industry naturally after spending so much time watching and learning from her mum. Mel completed her pastry cook apprenticeship at a continental cake shop where she worked for 5 and ½ years. After spending so many years around cakes, Mel started to move into the technology side of things and ibake Software was formed.
